Forge The Future: Polyhedra Metal Emoji Design Contest

We’re launching a new creative initiative for the Polyhedra community: a design challenge to create our first-ever Metal Emoji Set for Discord.

This is an open invitation to co-create. Whether you're a designer, meme smith, or just someone with a sharp sense of style, we want to see your take. Go solo or gather a team, and be part of shaping a new visual language for the Polyhedra community.

What We’re Looking For

Metal-Inspired Style

Your set should carry a cohesive, metallic aesthetic — think polished chrome or steel, or futuristic alloys. Clean, textured, industrial… or entirely your own, as long as it feels unified.

Originality and Intention

Your work should reflect personal input. AI can be used for reference, but entries must feel thoughtful and designed, not just prompted. We’re here for creativity, not shortcuts.

Teams Welcome

Got a creative crew? Submit a collective set as a team of 3 or more. Just include the X (Twitter) handles and Discord usernames of all members when submitting.

Design Specs

  • Size: 128×128 pixels
  • Format: PNG (transparent preferred) or GIF (animated, smooth loop)
  • File size: Under 256 KB
  • Must be: High-resolution, clear, and recognizable even at small scale
  • Avoid: JPEGs, blurry images, unclear or inconsistent styles

Timeline

  • Contest Opens: June 6
  • Submission Deadline: June 13
  • Judging Period: June 16–18
  • Winners Announced: June 20
